OK, so the title was a bit weird. Anyways, I'm currently a junior who is interested in studying either Chemical Engineering or Economics. I notice that there's not much relation between the two but at the moment I'm undecided between them. So here are some stats

Male
Florida
Small private school
Doesn't rank, but I'm apparently in the top 10%

GPA: 3.94 UW, 4.14 W after this 1st semester, only B's came in Freshman English both semesters.

ACT: 34 Composite

SAT IIs: 720 US History, 700 Chemistry (retake?), 750 Math 2, 740 French

EC's:
-Volunteering is my big one, I go to my church every week to feed homeless. I have about 100 hours so far.
-Mu Alpha Theta, possible officer next year
-National Honor Society
-Students Against Destructive Decisions, already voted to an officer position for next year

That covers the big ones really.

Courseload is fairly difficult for what the school offers.
Junior year:
-Ethics (required)
-Honors English 3
-Honors Chemistry
-Honors Algebra 2/Trig
-AP US History
-French 3

Projected Senior year:
-Honors French 4 (Honors isn't offered until senior year, only about two people take this each year)
-Honors English 4
-Honors Physics (highest available)
-Honors Economics/AP US Government
-AP Chemistry
-AP Calc AB

Schools I'm planning to apply to and intended major:
-UChicago EA (Economics)
-Columbia University (Economics)
-University of Florida (Undecided-could go either way)
-Georgia Tech (Chemical Engineering)
-MIT EA (Chemical Engineering)
-University of Texas at Austin (Chemical Engineering)
-Yale University EA (Economics)

Thanks to everybody who answers!
