Chance a Junior, please? :)

@Student8654

I really appreciate the feedback, and I hope you’re right  I have been working very hard on practicing the math portion so hopefully I can get that to at least 700…

I already have drafts for the Stanford supplements as well, and I think they’re decent…I’ll keep working on them. I’m just struggling with a topic for the common app essay…ugh.

Anyways, thanks for your time!

Every single one of those schools is a reach, but you’re the kind of student for whom no school is a reach.

Obi-Wan moment aside, I think you’ve got a strong chance at Stanfurd and Brown, probably at least one other Ivy (Dartmouth perhaps). You ought to be fine at Berkeley, and USC will be less difficult for you than the rest.

As long as you wanted other recs, I think I’ll take this chance to hype my hometown: USD and UCSD are both great schools! I don’t know if they have your track, but they’re worth a look for anyone. :D

Chance me please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1118399-chance-theatre-acting-inclined-junior-ill-chance-you-back.html

AB won’t significantly hurt you. You’ll just earn fewer college credits, and if you’re willing to accept that, then by all means go for AB.

You will likely be accepted into Stanford. :-)

Honestly, you have a great shot at all of your schools. Obviously, with the Ivies and Stanford you have to account for the fact that they accept ~10% of all applicants, but there is no real weak portion of your application.

I’m a little startled at the positive feedback, but thank you all! Any other takers with different opinions? Sorry, it’s just I see these people with amazing scores and whatnot be told they have little to no chances…then I get told Stanford could potentially be a low reach?

Also, do you know how severely my chances would be impaired if I could not get that SAT math score up much higher? I realize that it is not even in the bottom 25% for these schools…

Also, if you chance me feel free to post your own threads and I will reciprocate to the best of my ability :)

awesome ecs, extremely solid all the way around!! props for starting all those non-profits and businesses!

you have a shot anywhere!
Stanford-mid reach (just because its stanford…)
Brown-(mid reach)
Cornell-(match)
Duke-(low reach)
Dartmouth-(low reach)
Yale-(mid reach)
Harvard-(mid reach)
USC-(high match low reach? not sure)
UCB-(high match low reach? not sure)

Thank you, I have had fun doing them  I appreciate your response! Keep 'em coming, I will chance back if you post your threads!
