Hi guys. So i am going to be a senior next year and because i want to go into petroleum engineering, and there are only a few select school that offer it, i just want to know what my chances are at these schools and if you think I'll be eligible for any sorts or merit scholarships.

Also can someone tell me if it is smarter to go into nuclear engineering than petroleum engineering? (I know P. eng is not a dying field but i just want to know if nuclear energy will be taking over rapidly within the next 20-30 years).... or are there also any other "energy" related majors that i should look at.

Also could someone recommend other schools that i should look at.
