The schools I listed at the top are my top choices but list suggestions for other matches or reaches! Thanks!

I can’t say much because I don’t know a lot about these schools. However, your grades look really good, but schools tend to judge the difficulty of your school by how you do comparatively on standardized tests. Keep working on raising your test scores–and have you looked into the SAT? It’s obviously different from the ACT but if you just haven’t thought about it, the summer would be a great time to do some prep work and score well on both the SAT & ACT. That’s the big thing. You have good grades and relatively good ECs, and it seems you’ve got journalism and perhaps skating as strong points/themes to focus on in your applications. Focus on improving your standardized test scores, and in my opinion you’re in. Of course, because I don’t know much about these schools, you’ll have to compare to their average ACT/SAT scores and see how you fare, perhaps you’re fitting right in, I don’t know. To get a feel for some more matches, try the SuperMatch tool that’s available on this website. I don’t know about everyone else, but it was pretty accurate for me–had my top 2 in the first 8 listings, and my number 1 was its number 1. Also try the College Search feature on the College Board’s website. Best of luck to you!
