Essay: On being a very outspoken person, how this is the opposite of what a traditional Chinese family expects of their daughter, and how it has shaped who I am now.

Recommendations: From two teachers at school, and perhaps a very close supervisor at my hospital medical program.

--
I know it will probably be hard to gain admission seeing how only a few (8%) of attending students have a GPA below 3.0. But will my being Asian (3% of attending students are Asian) help me out somewhat in admission?

Hi I am a current sophmore at QU! I had a 3.3 gpa and was accepted to QU with an academic scholorship. What you need to remember is that gpa isnt everything when it comes to college you have pretty strong extra curricular and you are from a minority which is something that gives you a huge leg up when it comes to getting in at QU. If you can raise your SAT scores a little I would say you have a moderate chance at getting in between 60 and 70 percent

Your gpa is not strong but seeing that you are ethnic you have a huge leg up getting into QU. If you can get your SATs up to an 1800 I’d give you a 60% chance
