congrats on moving your test scores up! I agree that you should retake your SATII…lots of my sons’ friends walked in cold…and were under the impression that there was no need to review and regretted not prepping. The prep books are short and sweet and they are your friends…easier than AP prep.

I think too many people stop testing too soon, although 3 times is plenty…and one of my sons quit after two when he made the exact same score…he accepted that this was “his score”.

If critical reading is hard for you to nudge up, consider the ACT which is more like a batch of short SATIIs. You don’t have to report it. Buy the red book, review and take it in November or December…you never know…for one son the ACT was the lesser…for the other the ACT was perfection and far better than an SAT.

Be aggressive. You will need strong essays and to understand Vandy and the other colleges you apply to attend…visualize yourself there and think hard about curriculum if you have any sense of vocation yet…think hard about how you might contribute and put that on paper

Prep for the math level 2 SATII is my recommendation…it plays to your strong suit…but prep for it.

good luck in your college application season of life…
