Chance an engineer?

So I just got my LSAT score yesterday and was wondering which T-14's I have a shot at when I apply next fall. Here are my stats:

LSAT: 172
GPA: 3.8 (expect to remain constant...it has been for some time now)
Major: Bioengineering
Letters of Rec: 1 from research PI, 1 from a professor, expect 1 from industry (where I am working this summer)
Hooks? - Aside from research and being an officer in Tau Beta Pi (engineering honor society), not too much. Also, I'm lacking in the ethnicity department.

Also, if my dream school is Stanford is re-taking the LSAT a good idea? I was getting 175+ on the last couple of practice tests but choked a tiny bit on test day. Then again, I hear Stanford doesn't put that much weight on the LSAT.

Thanks!

A 172 is fantastic, I wouldn't retake. The difference between scores 170 and up really just comes down to luck on the day of the test, so there is probably just as much a chance you would go down. I would say you have a decent shot anywhere but Yale, and only not Yale because they seem to favor interesting real world experience hooks more from what I have heard. Good luck.
