So I finished the IB and got 40 points (with 7666 in HLs)
In terms of ECs, I dont have anything significant (just developed 2-3 web apps and won an inter-school quiz)
I’d like to pursue electrical engineering at either of Imperial or UCL.
My dream was Oxford but that went away the second I saw that ‘6’ for my math HL grade (Oxford needs 7)
As always, I would appreciate your candor in evaluating my chances of getting into both schools.
Would also like to know if gap years give a negative impression to schools (especially in my case, since the only reason I’m applying for the 2016 intake is that I couldn’t get in anywhere).
