Chance an Intl Student !

Hi everyone !! Thanks for viewing this thread. I am an international student from Singapore and I am really passionate about applying to Carleton this year. I got some major unhooks such as my being an international student or my minimal financial contribution. I need you guys' advises on whether I would make the cut and what I could do to improve my chance.

Sex: Male
Ethnicity: Asian
Hooks: Nothing at all
Income Range: < $20000 per annum
High School: Private high school, among the top in Singapore

GPA: I am taking IB so I am not really sure how the GPA system works for my program.
FYI, junior year: 44/45. sophomore: 42/42. I'm taking IB this november and the result only comes out after the RD deadline. However, for my predicted grade, I am confident of getting about 42 or 43 out of 45
Course Load: Mathematics HL, Physics HL, Economics HL, Spanish ab initio SL, Further Math SL and English A1 SL
Ranking: Our school does not provide ranking for the graduating batch but during my sophomore year I was ranked 1/approx 450

SAT 1: 2290 (800M, 720CR, 770WR - 1 sitting) - would my relatively underpar CR score be a problem?
SAT 2: I only took Physics and Math II and I got 800 for both. I am planning to take Spanish and USHist this coming October

Major Awards: Numerous awards in national math olympiads. AMC 10 and 12 school winners during my junior and senior years and qualified for AIME on both occasions. Too bad I never made it to USAMO before. I also got some minor awards in several Australian and Canadian math competitions. 4 years ago I also represented my country in ARML. On the school level I got a few academic awards and made it to the Dean's List of my HL subjects (eligible for the top 10% of each subject)
Just a minor query as my awards are really one-sided (Math Math and Math), will it affect my chance? FYI I want to major in Applied Math, Engineering or other Math, Science-related fields should I be admitted into Carleton

ECs: My ECs are not stellar cos here in Singapore school life is really rigorous and thousands of students vying for only a few clubs and societies
Math Competition Team: Member (2 years) - Treasurer (Sophomore) - Vice Pre (Senior)
Tchoukball Team: Founding Member (Junior + Sophomore) - Co-captain (Senior). We participated twice in the National Interschool Competition and a few other minor tournaments. No silverware though.
Operation Smile Student Chapter: I was the founding member and club co-president for the past 3 years. However, we organized a number of fund-raising programs and one mission trip to Indonesia during my sophomore year
I am also member of other ECs such as School's A Capella Band and Interact Club but my contribution and leadership in these two ECs are negligible

Volunteer/Community Service:
I dedicate lots of time volunteering for Singapore Operation Smile which is the governing body of all Student Chapters in the country. We organize a Carnival in which I am part of the Organizing Committee. Many fund-raising and awareness-raising camps and activities over the past 4 years.
I volunteered for the Children Cancer Foundation for the past 2 years also (2 sessions per week) in which I did numerous translation work and interacted with leukemia-inflicted kids. I and my friends also spearheaded a minor Facebook-based initiative that managed to raise a few thousands of fund for the Foundation
Summer Activities: I was selected for an internship @ National Metrology Center for roughly 6 weeks and I collaborated with the researchers on a minor research. During my sophomore year I also worked for some tutoring center teaching math to Lower Secondary kids.
Teacher/Counselor Recs: Good (from my Math and Physics teacher - I got a good, not impressive though, relationship with both) however the recs might be a bit generic and impersonal
Essays: Im working on it and hopefully my early preparation would allow me to produce some decent stuff

Once again I would like to emphasize that Im an intl student (Asian cookie-cutter) applying for almost-full financial aid. This would be a massive unhook so I need some advice from you guys. Thanks for spending your time on my thread
