I'm a Junior and I badly want to go to NU; its my dream!
My stats
ACT-30(first time)
UW GPA: 3.7 ish
W GPA: 4.12
All Honors or AP's throughout High School besides one class.
EC's
President of school chapter of Special Need Volunteer Program.
Founder and President of school's succesful business club.
On the Basketball team for 4 years and the bowling team for 2 years.
I want to go to the School of Communications because it sounds fascinating.
Do I have a shot? What are my chances? What is the easiest NU school to get into?

Could use some more EC’s and higher act/sat scores to boost your chances. Northwestern is getting more competitive every year just like every other school so make sure you have a good essay. Best of luck.

You have a pretty good ACT score for NU! It’s great that you started your own Special need Volunteer Program and that you’re trying to get into the communications field–they should be greatly related! You seem pretty set academically and you have a pretty solid foundation with your EC. My advice is to write a POWERFUL essay with your achievements and show who you are as a person because NU is one of those colleges that actually cares about personality and character. I would say that you have a pretty good chance. I can’t accurately say so because I don’t know the entire context of your background, but I’d say you have a good chance. Good luck!!!
