@dumbnerd123 It seems like we have a lot in common! My concerns about getting in are my math SAT and that I don’t really any specific food experience (I had to turn down an internship). I decided I’m definitely doing regular decision after my dad did the financial aid calculator., </p>
<p>@paintlover I think the only potential weakness you have is, like you mentioned, your SAT score. But I think your extra curriculars and GPA definitely make up for it! Maybe try taking the SAT again since you’ll be doing regular decision instead? Overall, I think you are definitely a competitive applicant! I’m not sure if it’s true but I heard it’s easier to get in as a food science major since it’s not very popular… </p>
<p>Thank you, I hope so! I’ve determined that I am just not going to be able to do well on the SAT, I accept that. Hopefully it will be easier to get in food science…the ~15 other people applying to Cornell from my school are all ED, so I hope that I still have a chance! Good luck!</p>
