So do I have a chance at Columbia? Or any of the ivies really?

U definitely have a chance, but, it is impossible to predict chances for ivy league schools. Impossible to give prediction… can only say you have a “chance”

thanks jayjay. what would u say for hopkins which is another school im thinking of since its so close to where i live?

You have a great chance at Hopkins prolly over 75 percent chance of acceptance. If you are interested in Science related major, I suggest you apply ED to John Hopkins, it overall is a great school (2 cousins who go there) and I really like ur chances. (Match)

Schools like JHU, Northwestern, Chicago, offer ivy league status education, but a lot easier to get in.

If you apply ED (which i am planning to do), u r in.

To me I would say that Columbia is a reach for you but, remeber thats kinda what is like for everyone else. I think you would have a good chance at Cornell. P.S. you would really want to try to get your SAT’s to the 2350 to 2400 range, make your application more competitive.

yeah hopefully i can raise my cr to like 750+ and get an 800 in math idk if ill crack 2350 but maybe close

I think you have as good of a shot as anybody, really. Like previously posted, Ivies are extremely unpredictable. Good luck! Wherever you end up, I’m sure it will be a wonderful school.

anyone else? ill chance back

I say you have a good chance, but remember, admissions into the Ivies can be a real toss-up.
