I am wanting to attend Columbia for computer science. I am pretty well rounded; I was president of book club, German Honor society, Member of Habitat for Humanity, computer Science club, and surf club. I am currently a junior in all 7 ap’s, along with 2 jobs. Senior year I am going in to differential calculus and calc 3 at my local college along with taking computer programming courses. I will leave high school with a total of at least 14 AP classes under my belt, all of which are mostly A , but a few are B’s. If I am able to secure high SAT scores along with high ACT scores will I have a reasonable chance ?
Define reasonable.
There’s no formula to getting accepted into selective colleges besides across the board excellence. There are students like you who are admitted. There are many like you who are rejected. everyone has a low chance like <10%, unless they are truly a spectacular person like cured cancer and won ioi and all that. thus, you have a “reasonable” chance in that it’s low like everyone elses, but if you are expecting kind of to get in then don’t apply
