GPA 3.3 UW 3.7 W
ACT 28 (took it again recently, and i feel like i have a better score)
SAT 1910 (took it again recently, I wasn't really feeling well that day and feel like i have a worse score)

Taken all honors classes, mostly A's and B's with very few C's (i think semester wise i have 4 total, all towards freshman/sophomore year. No C's Junior, or Senior for that matter)

Took AP Lang in Junior year and got a 3 on the exam (which surprised everyone, I aced all of the practice assignments we did)

Senior Schedule is also incredibly strong

AP Calculus AB
AP Physics C
Food Preparation (1st semester) AP Govt and Politics (2nd semester)
AP Psychology
AP European History
AP Literature
Tennis

I'm acing all of these classes currently, except for Calc and Tennis (which are B's). I went on a cruise and the Tennis teacher wouldn't let me make up a test. She's kind of unreasonable.

I've been in Spanish Club for the past two years. No management positions though.

To my strength, I'm part of an organization at our school called StangSat, whose objective is to collaborate with NASA to build, program, and launch a satellite into space, to do tests for NASA that would be more expensive for NASA otherwise. I'm a member of the Command and Data Handling part of that club, we are in charge of programming the satellite. There are no management positions, however, as it is mainly a collaborative effort.

I also hold three Adobe Industry Certifications, in Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, and Photoshop.
I've used these certifications in my community service. I built a website for the Cub Scouts, and currently manage it to this day. I also do various tech work for the Cub Scouts, such as running Pinewood Derbys and creating Slideshows.

I'm hoping to have a relatively strong essay, as I did when I applied to FSU a few weeks ago. I have a lot of people in line to help with editing and such.
I'm going to apply within the week, though UCF goes by Rolling Admissions so I don't know if this helps or hurts me.

As i said before, my grade trend curves very sharply upwards, and in the final semester of Junior year my only two B's were in Physics Honors and AP Lang. No C's Junior year. C both Semesters in Algebra 2 Sophomore year. C second semester in World History Honors and English Honors, both of which I got A's in First semester Freshman year.

I went through a serious bout of depression Freshman and Sophomore year, due to my inability to adjust to life in Florida (I had recently moved). After much thought, I decided against mentioning this in my UCF application essay. It sounded too much like a sob-story, and thats not the kind of person I am anymore.

In any case, I'm really stressed as to whether my Freshman and Sophomore years will hold me back too much. Please chance me! Thanks in advance! :)
