<p>You should have no problem getting into UCR, UCSC is probably a match also, but a lot depends on how the UCs do with apps - every year is a different story!</p>

<p>EC’s are good enough for either IMO.
GPA is kind of low but i’d say good enough to get in.
Focus on writing a good personal statement and you should be able to get into both.
My counsellor gave me a website to look at stats of UC admissions which is statfinder.ucop.edu
Pretty good information there regarding you’re chances of getting in.

btw I got my oct SAT scores back and now I have an 1850 for reasoning. Not much of a difference but it’s better than my last score :0
