before i chance, what’s your unweighted gpa?

really should try to get your SAT up.

chance me?

Nothing is that fantastic, especially for Berkeley. I’d recommend getting the GPA and SAT way up before considering UCB. Chance back?

fullofwonder: my unweighted is about 3.6-3.7

I have virtually the same Extra Curriculars as you and i just got into Irvine. 4.3 GPA and lower SAT score. I’d say you are a match for Irvine.

Definitely need to get your SAT up to be a match for UCLA and UC.

I also plan on taking the Sat subject tests for World History and Biology. If I do good on those will it make a difference?

Berkerly is unlikely. UCSB and LA are matches if you raise your SATs to be at least 1900. The rest you’re likely in, according to the admittedly limited knowledge I have of the UC admissions system.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1301595-ty-ish-act-score-good-ecs-cornell-rd.html

And yes, SAT IIs will definitely help you. Your EC’s are just kind of “blah” though they are quite spread out, and your high GPA looks odd with a low SAT score. Plus, how much your rank has gone down over the years hurt you.

What about the ACT? If I do decent on it can I send that score plus the SAT subject tests and just omit the SAT reasoning from my application?
