Chances for:

USC (Southern California)
Stanford
Dartmouth
Rice
Cornell
Brown
UC Berkeley
Tulane
Auburn

Thank you in advance for your opinion, and I will chance back!

USC - low match
Stanford - reach (it’s a reach for nearly everyone!)
Dartmouth - low reach
Rice - match
Cornell - match
Brown - match
UC Berkeley - match
Tulane - low match
Auburn - match

I’m no expert but I think your stats are great and you have a great shot at basically all of the schools you listed. Stanford and Dartmouth are kind of crapshoots for anyone but I honestly think you have a really good chance at them.

I’ll try chancing you, but I’ve never done this kind of thing before! So don’t take my word:
USC (Southern California) - low match
Stanford - reach
Dartmouth - low reach
Rice - match
Cornell - reach
Brown - low reach
UC Berkeley - match
Don’t know about Tulane & Auburn, sorry!

USC - low match
stanford - match/reach
Dartmouth - sorry i dont really know much about it
Rice - match
Cornell - match - reach
Brown - match
UCB - match

USC - Low Match
Stanford- Reach (But isn’t it always?)
Dartmouth - High Match
Rice- Match
Cornell - Low Reach
Brown - Reach
UCB - Match
Tulane - Low Match
Overall excellent, you should be proud and I wish you the best

Do you guys think that it would affect my chances positively enough to apply to Stanford SCEA that I should do it? Or would I be better off applying EA to more than one school? I’ve also seen that Stanford is a bad school for doing early action, seeing as how they flat out reject more people rather than defer them

How are your Ecs weak at all.

@agreatperhaps they’re not weak, but there’s nothing that really stands out, imho

“RCML Co-Director (Entirely student-run math league with participants from 20+ countries)”?

Yeah, nothing stands out.

@agreatperhaps okay, I guess that one’s good, but everything else just seems laundry-list

You and I are almost identical. High GPA and test scores, but unfocused EC’s.

USC (Southern California) - Low Match
Stanford - Reach
Dartmouth - Low Reach
Rice - Match
Cornell - High Match
Brown - Low Reach
UC Berkeley - Low Match / Match if OOS
Tulane - Low Match
Auburn - Safety

Your low matches are basically safeties, but they have really low acceptance rates so I can’t call them that. Apply to Stanford SCEA if it’s your number 1. It’s probably better that they reject most applicants so at least you don’t hold out false hope.

You’re right about the Stanford thing, and it really does make a lot more sense when you put it that way. I think Im gonna apply SCEA, so hopefully that’ll go well. Do you think that this is a good mix of safety/match/reach?

USC: match
Stanford: reach
Dartmouth: low reach
Rice: high match
Cornell: low reach
Brown: low reach
UC Berkeley - match
Tulane: low match
Auburn: safety
