<p>I am from Turkey (actually I have dual US and Turkey citizenship but it has no use at college admissions if I don't want scholarship) and I will apply to Stanford in regulars. I will list my noteworthy academic info, achievements and EC's and I would be very glad if you could chance me for Stanford.</p>
<p>Academic:</p>
<p>-Currently in the IB program. High Levels: Bio, Chem, Business. Standard Levels: Math, Turkish, English
-GPA: 5.00/5.00, our school doesn't send ranking in the apps (I am in the top 5 of 210 kids anyways)
-SAT 1: Combined score is 2250, best single score is 2200.
-SAT Subject tests: Math 1C 770, Math 2C 780, Chem 730 (I might retake it, do you think I should?), Bio in the fall (I am aiming for 750+)</p>
<p>Achievements:
-Second place out of 142 kids from 21 countries in DNA-DAY ESSAY organized by European Society of Human Genetics
-1st place in two math competitions in our school
-Qualified for the first round of National Merit Scholarship
-French award in the preparatory year
-English award in Freshman and Sophomore years
-B1 Diploma in French</p>
<p>EC's:
-MUN: President of MUN Club in my school. Secretary-General of my school's conference. Will have chaired at 10 conferences, including the world's largest MUN conference in The Hague
-Student Council: Independent Representative of my school last year. Honorary Member next year
-Junior Achievement: CEO of a non-profit student-run business enterprise, made donations with the profit of sales in school
-Community Service: Tutored a student in English for a year. Prepared a group of female students for the nationwide highschool examination for a year. Organized trips to and volunteered at a sea turtles rehabilitation center
-Wrote a book based on my memories and treatment for young Hodgkin's Disease patients. Sent the book out to medical centers in Turkey. I will translate the book into English too.
-Organized an STD awareness day in my school and raised awareness according to poll results.</p>
<p>Other:
-Attended Brown's and Harvard's summer school.</p>
<p>I reckon my essay will be pretty good since I will do my best while writing it. </p>
