Congratulations on getting your EA apps in. And if you know you like TCNJ, then I understand why you decided to ED there, particularly since you get in-state pricing. With respect to your chances, I think you have a chance at any of the schools. Just have to be patient until the admissions office gets back to you!
Make sure you set up any portals that you get sent info for and make sure to continue to check your portals and your email. Wishing you the best!
CC is still being a pain to sign up for, but I’ve been assured I’ll be able to. Once work dies down for school, I’ll take the precalc test. I’m registered, just haven’t scheduled out the home test.
it’s fine for the CC class… School&the CLEP test are more important.
(The CC class can appear on your CommonApp Spring Schedule or your SRAR even before you register for it, as long as your GC knows about it).
Check your portals, especially those that require SRARs.
Wow, thanks! How does he like it so far? I’m a little worried about campus life. I’m not a huge party guy, but I would like to have friends and all that, you know.
He liked it, but he’s a big party guy, he was in a business frat that operated like a social frat (he ended up getting his internship in a company founded by some frat alums and is still there 7 years later). It’s less than 1 1/2 hours from us and he rarely came home.
Hey everyone! I just wanted to update:
I got into Rowan(no merit), Seton Hall(19k a year, 75k total), and my ED of TCNJ Business. I’m so happy that the process is finally over, and thanks to everyone for guiding me through this. I was so worried I’d never even get into college.
CONGRATULATIONS !
Also, did I read that right?
You got into TCNJ?!?!!
I hope you’re still taking that CLEP test aiming for a high score - not only to get into college but to avoid wasting your time taking the class once you’re in college. A few hours of work, a good score, and that’s one semester of college precalculus done with. (Business will require precalculus, Calculus, and statistics. So getting one out of the way with CLEP and potentially one more with the CC class if you go through with it, is super efficient way and sth your brain should enjoy.)
Well, a lot of my friends are going to Rutgers and SHU, but I’m fine with my ED to TCNJ. I like the school, and I can always drive over to my friends, or even transfer.
It really is. When I started applying, I was really distressed. There was almost no information on guys like me getting into good colleges, and just looking at my grades made me want to cry. Now I can be that example for kids in my position. I’m going to a top-50 business school!!! It almost seems too good to be true.
