Chance me and I'll chance you back!

With your lower CR score that might bring you down a little but northeastern is not super competitve its like 40% so i’d guess if your essay is written strongly b/c your topic is good then i’d guess you have a good shot :slight_smile:
Chance Back?

im the last post

I think that you have a really good shot at Northeastern. The thing to keep in mind is that you need to become more than a bunch of numbers. Your CR score is low, but both these schools have above a 30% acceptance rate. With an upward trend in grades and essays that make you come alive, I think you should be looking at an even higher chance. Did you make sure to emphasize your passion for ECs? What was the rigor like for your curricula? Those two facts could play a role, but you have the majority of the package. Keep in mind that colleges do recognize that some students aren’t good test takers, and the SAT is by no means an “intelligence test.” Your English grades could shore up the damage caused by the CR score.

@DRose2012

Even though I took all regular classes from freshmen to junior, I am taking AP Calculus AB and AP Government and doing extremely well on them (94 for calc and 93 for gov). Also, My english grades in school have never been below a 90 and I have an average of 98 in English 12 this year. And yes, I emphasize my passion by writing about my Bolivian mission trips throughout my 1000 Extra Curricular Essay, which is pretty strong as well. I am also the Vice President of the Alter serving group at my church, but I don’t know if it’ll do much even though I stated it on my application. Haha, thank you for giving me hope. My guidance counselor also told me that I have a really good shot, but I don’t know if all these chances are trustworthy. I just chanced you back. =)

Can anyone else chance me for a chance back?

Anyone else? :</p>

I know nothing about the SUNY school, so I can’t help you there. Northeastern your sats are about average and I think your gpa is about the same. You seem to have good extras, so you definitely have a shot. It also depends on what program you’re trying to get into… if it’s a more general major I think you’ll have a better chance

@Beagle398

Since I’m going for a business major, I applied to the school of Business Administration. Is that considered a general major and would I have a better chance at the business program rather than the other programs?

Can anyone else help me out? I’ll chance back.

@AudreyVictoria
I did chance you a while ago.

I’m getting decisions tomorrow! Wish me lucky, everybody!
Can anyone give me the last chances? I’ll chance back!

If you’ve had a challenging course load then you’ve got a good shot at both of these schools, and raising your SAT with definitely help.

Please chance me back
