Are your parents self employed? Do they own real estate other than your primary residence? What is the equity in your primary residence (as some colleges do use this). These could be the reasons you are seeing a big difference in the NPCs. You could take the time to run them again…just to be sure.

This college application process has been filled with ups and downs and has been stressful to say the least. So many random waitlists and the occasional rejection thrown into the mix. I am grateful for the acceptances and waitlists but I decided to not accept any waitlist spot because I believe I wouldn’t be happy with my choice if I was waiting to hear from somewhere else. I’m grateful to say I’ll be attending Dartmouth University in the fall!
