Chance me? ASU with a low GPA?

Hi, I'm a California resident who is currently a senior. I'm applying to ASU because, well, because I don't have many options (not to insult the school's integrity, but I do know they have a high acceptance rate.) Here is my info.

Freshman year GPA: 2.7
As for the explanation...I slacked off, didn't take it seriously. I got three F's which I made up, but the F's are still there. It just shows I took the classes all over again Junior year.

Sophomore year GPA: 2.8
YES, terrible I know! I kick myself every day for allowing myself to be so lazy.

Junior year GPA: 3.7
Hey, that's a good improvement right?

Senior year (so far): 3.8

ACT Score: 28

If I'm not mistaken (don't quote me on this) my overall GPA should be around 3.4. Not too bad for ASU standards, eh? I'm worried that they will see my Freshman/Sophomore year and be like "heck NO." But, then again, I'm hoping that they will like the improvement and the effort I made to retake the classes I failed, all in which I got As in. I have some decent ECs if that helps (volunteering.)

According to their academic requirements, I'm deficient one year in each math and science, but fulfilled the option of scoring a 22 or higher on the math section of the ACT. So I should be fine.

So, chance me? :)

What is your senior year schedule? All colleges, including ASU, view math and lab sciences as a challenging college-prep curriculum.

Low Match.
