Your GPA is very low. I’m also curious as to how you get an 82 in Gym but let’s disregard that. A 765 is not a possible SAT score. If you were to get those scores, then good job, but they won’t make up for your current grades. 4 years speaks more about a person than a 3/4 hour exam they take in on a Saturday morning.

I really, really, REALLY dislike how you say ‘gonna ask teacher to make me it.’ That just makes me wonder if you’re wanting that position just so you could put it on an application. As for your extracurricular activities. They seem alright, but what have you done within them? Have you taken them places? Have you changed any of the teams significantly? Try to focus less on leadership positions and the quantity of extracurricular activities and instead focus on passions and having a few that you REALLY strive and excel in. In my case, National Honor Society, I’m not a president or anything, but as a member I’ve changed the Society in more ways than any of the officers. I put the most effort in it, and am often regarded as the ‘non-president president’ lol. You need to make a difference. You really need to stand out in somethings and have them go “wow” at some of your accomplishments. As for sports, don’t do bowling just because ‘colleges like it’. Once again, you’re human. Do what you LIKE. Not what a college wants. I like how you do ‘track’ and cross-country, and don’t say much about it. I hope you do those because you’re actually passionate about running like I am. Also, is track really separated into 2 at your school? Winter and Spring? From the looks of your extra-curricular activities I could just assume you split it into two in hopes of appealing to college admissions officers.

So, to wrap up. If you get the SAT scores you believe you’re going to get, then good. Your GPA needs work. As for me, I have an unweighted GPA of 99.3 and a weighted GPA of 110.08, so try to bring your GPA up. As for EC’s, work less on impressing colleges and more on being yourself, and doing things you’re truly passionate about. If you LOVE math, like I do then try to excel in mathematics. I’m ranked in the top 3 of my State based on the state rankings here for mathematics, and it’s things like that, in you’re passions, that make you stand out, not necessarily the many leadership positions you have in lots of organizations if you can’t delve further into how you’ve actually made an impact in them.

Over-all, passions > appealing to college admissions.

^ Ditto.

The whole “going to ask to be president” thing doesn’t sound good to me either. If your passion is getting into college, I have something for you to consider. These teachers will be writing your recommendations. Do you really want to have to reputation of an application padder? I mean you shouldn’t do it for all the reasons listed above, but if none of the passion talk appeals to you maybe this will.

So yea when I say ask the teacher its just because there is no president or anything like that and I’m the main member in most of this stuff doing all the work and the teacher just never thought of having a president, vice president, ect. Yea I like track and cross country a lot and in New York State there is winter and spring track. Winter is indoor and is from like late November to like march i think and spring is the rest of the year. And you sign up for each seperatly and I got an 82 in gym because some1 broke into me and my friends gym locker and stole my gym clothes and every time you dont get dressed its 5 points off your grade. And there are basicly no sports at my school just winter and spring track, basketball, soccer, and baseball for boys. And there are like no clubs I love because these are all the clubs at my school and they rlly dont do much anyway. So thanks for the feed back but you never told me what you think of my chance if i do this stuff plz respond quick.

Why ask the teachers? If anything, let them acknowledge you as a president. Let it stroke their thought. “there are like no clubs I love because these are all the clubs at my school and they rlly dont do much anyway.” Well, make them do something. Make a change in your community and put forth effort to try and have something come out of them.

You want a %age? Well, a website said that 15.7% of all applicants got admitted, so I’ll just base off that statistic… 6.7%.
