Well if your weighted GPA is a 6.49 I would say your chances are high…
What courses have you been taking and are currently taking? Are they the most rigorous offered at your school? Your AP courses are the “AP Lite “ other than the standard social studies and Chem, and the exam result for the Chem not up there. Will you be taking AP English Lang & Lit? AP Calculus? Will you have 4 years of foreign language with the last one AP? Will you have taken the 3 core sciences? Have you taken any SAT2s? What did you get on them? What is your area of interest in college?
Unless you are going to a high school not offering the rigor of courses I am asking about in above paragraph, if you aren’t getting those courses this year, it’s likely to be an issue.
We cannot judge how fantastic your accomplishments are without context. If you had won the Westinghouse or Siemens or like science awards, that’s something we know is recognized. You could be off the charts in these activities, … or not. Your GC and teachers should laud you on these accomplishments and explain that you are the most incredible student ever to attend the school, doing such great, remarkable things as a high school student. If these inventions and research are truly out of ordinary, they could make a huge difference. I cannot tell if it’s the case for you.
You have URM as a consideration. There is a huge difference between Harvard and NYU in admissions chances. Harvard is a lottery ticket for anyone. You aren’t there in terms of academic excellence, so it may come down to whether your activities are earth shattering or usual for these days when so many kids are doing internships that get published work and findings.
None of these schools are safeties for you. NYU maybe target. I always feel students should play this lottery, so that’s fine to have these super reaches. as long as you have some safety schools too. Get your app into UF early if you are at all interested in that fine flagship school. I’d replace a couple of those reach schools with high targets and low reaches. Tufts maybe, Rochester, BC, Michigan, Tulane are some suggestions. Maybe add Syracuse as a match/safety.
Chances are lousy. They’re lousy for everyone. Don’t stress and make sure you apply to a variety of schools like UF and FSU.
And even lousier if you only know what you want, not what THEY look for.
If you’re thinking stem, the 3 is no help. The way you wrote your details hints you don’t yet understand what these school want to see. To get that, you need to learn a lot more about them, from them, not common assumptions or hearsay or guesses.
