<p>Hey guys, i posted before but let me post again.</p>

<p>If anyone needs any additional info just let me know.</p>

<p>Im from Bangladesh, Living in New York City.</p>

<p>Transcript Avg = 94.3
Rank= i think im about 18/500+??, not sure but i know im 96 percentile
so im top 4 percent.</p>

<p>SAT I:</p>

<p>M-650 Cr-490 W-570
(Most recent, not much more than this super scored anyways)</p>

<p>Concidering to retake in December. Just aiming for my 750 M, 550 CR and ill be satisfied.</p>

<p>SAT II:
Math II - Nov. but pretty sure ill get over 700
Physics - Nov. but pretty sure ill get over 650</p>

<p>my highschool is not that competitive, but im in a pre med program
and have taken extra "pre-med" classes such as</p>

<p>Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Labratory, and Microbiology.</p>

<p>Ap classes Taking/Taken:</p>

<p>Ap USH, Ap Composition, Ap Calculus AB, Ap Literature, Ap Biology
+College now Physics</p>

<p>everything else was Honors. (school offers like 1 or 2 more ap's, ap spanish included, but i dropped it however its not shown on my transcript)</p>

<p>Recommendations: There going to be excellent, from my physics teacher who is the Assistant Principal of Science.</p>

<p>Essays: going to be great</p>

<p>EC's:</p>

<p>its a whole lot to name, but i do have a lot and i think its all to my advantage.

<p>-Student Government - Delegate
-Arista Honors Society
-Pre-Med Club/Committee
-JV bowling - won award
-Case Study Initiative internship - with a doctor who graduated from my highschool.
- Starting projects in school and fund rasing to help organizations: (ex. Darfur, Leukemia and lymphoma, AIDS, Pre mature babies)
-Leadership class - where i get a lott of my EC's</p>

<p>In addition ive probably done every single type of "walk" that we were aware of and helping raise money for (Aids walk, Lupus walk, March of dimes etc..)</p>

<p>NYU
Fordham U (really want to go here, probably first choice)
Boston U
Northeastern U
Stony Brook
Stevens Institute of Tech.
Hofstra
Wagner (maybe)
Case Western (maybe)
Renssealer (maybe)</p>

<p>safety safety = Cuny Hunter</p>

<p>Im interested in Pre-Med, probably with majoring in "Pre-Med", Chemistry or Physics.</p>

<p>NYU, Case Western big reaches, just because of SATs. Boston U, Rensselaer high high match/low-mid reach. Wager, Hofstra matches. Those are the colleges I do know. I'm doing this based on what I know of these colleges and I'm similarly applying to BU and NYU.</p>

<p>I don't know much about Fordham but from what I've heard Fordham wouldn't be harder then NYU or easier then Wager. I might be wrong heh. But if you got those SATs up to around a 1350+, you're a <b>solid</b> match or better for all your schools. Try taking SAT classes and if you can't afford it, well i don't know how you're gonna afford NYU :P</p>

<p>nah i took SAT classes lol, im just too lazy and im so busy that i dont really have that much time, the 1st and 2nd time were taken without much prep. 1st time no prep at all, 2nd time 2 practice tests....i hope that after November my SAT 2's i can take about 4-5 tests, or finish the blue book, and hopefully ill be more preped to get atleast a 1250 or 1300/ 1600. if anyone else knows about fordham and how well or not well im matched Please let me know. THanks!</p>

<p>you have high possibilities in Fordham, Stony, and Hofstra
but if you are going for pre-med,
I recommend stony and binghamton(upstate, 2-3hr far?)</p>

<p>you have a good chance, but you really need to boost that cr score, i suggest giving the ACT's a shot
you'll most likely get into fordham, but the only thing i can think of holding you back is that cr score. fix that and you're fine!</p>

<p>someStudent, im going to apply to Stony, just not Bing (i didnt mention any Cuny Suny schools here but im applying), Bing because even if i got in my parents wouldnt let me go so yeah...other schools i can convince them. Anyways thanks guys! Really hoping for Fordham for Pre-Med.</p>

<p>You can get into Northeastern. Some of my friends got into Fordham with somewhat similar stats, I'd imagine it's a good match for you.</p>

<p>^ really? can u pm me with stats? im afraid my CR is too low, but im giving it one more shot in december, im only aiming for 550, or even above 500 would be nice for me, and math going to increase most probably. and i have a lot of EC"s which i hope will be very helpful for me than others applying.</p>
