Wow. You had me at “Pres of Anti-Human Trafficking Group”! Very impressive credentials that seem to fit in perfectly with the Tufts ethos. My DD was admitted EDI this year with similar stats and unique ec’s (though not as “global” in impact as yours). She considered applying at the same time to a couple of EA schools (Georgetown, Villanova), but frankly, with Hurricane Sandy upturning our lives, she just didn’t get around to it. But yes, you can apply EDI or EDII to Tufts and still apply EA elsewhere.

If you haven’t had interactions yet with the Tufts admissions folks, you’re in for a treat. And make a point of attending the “Why Tufts” session in your region (sometime in Fall). Very illuminating and reassuring.

As for the other schools listed, your chances are likely strong, as well, though if admissions stats are redefined so drastically within the course of a single year (as is the case at UChicago), your odds may be lower.

Maybe add Wesleyan to your list?

Good luck!
