Awarded "Shining Knight" of my senior class. The award basically is given to one girl and one boy in the class that most exemplifies the image of Christ in mind, heart, body, and soul. (School Motto). I was really excited to receive the award and Im hoping it will improve my chances of acceptance.

Just from a quick glance what are my chances of acceptance at the following schools:

Santa Clara University (Legacy)
UCSB
UC Davis (Legacy)
UC Irvine
University of San Fran
Loyola Marymount
UC Santa Cruz
UC San Diego (long shot)
University of San Diego

I’m a bit rusty with chances b/c I haven’t been looking at schools’ stats for a while but I just wanted to say that SCU will really like you with legacy and the “Shining Knight” award. Seems like you know what you’re doing, most of those schools are matches and yes, UCSD will be pretty hard but not out of the question.

Santa Barbara: match
legacy goes a loooong way…
all of your schools seem to be a match, maybe Santa Clara a low reach
Please chance back for BC and UVa

Basically match for all except UCSD and SLO. and only taking 4 classes senior year? that could very well be a determining factor when schools see your stats(pretty much the average for UCSB and UCI, a little below), and compare them to another student, and then see you’re only taking two classes. Not good. =( I’d suggest taking 6 just to be safe. But your 3 sport athlete thing is pretty impressive, definitely gives you at least a small chance at UCSD, and an even bigger one at SLO.

your SAT and SAT2s are a bit low, but still i think you have a solid chance!
