Chance me Boston University, NYU, UPitt, GW, Georgetown for global/public health or psych bs!

Sorry this is long lol, I wanted to be detailed
I’m a female at an academically competitive high school interested in pursuing global health/public health as a major. Originally, I thought I wanted to go into international relations, but I soon realized that i was interest in the global health side of things more than IR. I don’t have many science extracurriculars, and I was wondering if this would hurt my chances. Thanks!

I might use global health/public health as a stepping stone to other healthcare fields when I go to grad school.

That’s pretty impressive. My D looked at all those but Pitt, and from what I gathered at the info sessions for the remaining 4 you should be a strong contender at BU, NYU and GW. Your stats also look good for Georgetown imo, but Gtown is reachy for most people so it’s hard to be as confident.

I’d observe that DC is a very good location for internships for your areas of interest, too.

You have a great shot at all those schools. The only downside I see is that none of them are known for particularly generous financial aid. Run the NPC on each school’s web page before you get too attached to any of them. You have a good chance of getting in, though!

Thanks! Hopefully I can get some aid

Great chances at Pitt
