My essay was passionate

Yale: REJECT
NYU: Likely/ In

What about Columbia?

Yale - reach
NYU - match
Colombia - reach

I think the Ivies are going to be reaches because, based on whaat info given, nothing really makes you stand out from the other applicants.

rejected

:(

maybe in @ NYU?

For your major, you should have taken a social studies SAT subject test.
reaches.
NYU is a high match.
good luck!

Yeah, I know I'll get in NYU, but maybe Columbia, as I am applying ED?
Probably not even gonna apply to Yale, waste of money.

bump 10 char

Columbia might be a bit hard, i suppose, cuz they sort of want outstanding people.

ED does not make columbia easier to get into. For the unhooked, they still want the stats. I would focus on raising your SAT I and II scores in the Fall and apply RD instead. The ED numbers look like it’s easier because it’s the round in which they take many of the hooked: almost all of the recruited athletes (17% of class), legacies (about 12%), staff kids, development candidates.

your SAT II are kinda low amd it is the first thing i notice glancing at your grades. Which isn’t a good thing.

I don’t think you will get into Columbia and Yale but if you have the money, feel free to apply. Your chances of getting to NYU if you apply for CAS is around 60%. your grades are average for NYU and below average for Columbia and Yale.
