My sister is also a Dartmouth grad which gives me a secondary legacy

There is no such thing as a secondary legacy from a sibling, but your achievements give you a good chance on your own.

That’s what I thought too… but the Internet said it counted as one. I just hope my GPA isn’t too low!

@AboutTheSame Thank you for your opinion!

Do you have solid safeties?

Have you run the NPC on Dartmouth, or are you and your family fine with your being full pay?

You need to calculate your unweighted GPA if you want to get an accurate guess of your chances. However, Dartmouth is a reach regardless of your stats.

“I also attend the #1 public school in my state so the classes are quite challenging”

Classes at your high school are not as challenging as classes will be at Dartmouth.

@DadTwoGirls I do have a decent number of safety schools and am applying to UMich and UVA early.
I am going to be a full pay student like my sister. I need to get back to you on my unweighted GPA because my school never uses it. And the reason I mentioned my school was because that is why my GPA is lower due to the tougher classes and Dartmouth knows that about my school because we have a good relationship, I am in no means saying that my classes are harder it was just an explanation. I was also wondering what you thought about my extracurriculars. Thank you for your feedback!
