CONCLUSION:

Thank you all. I will be down for “reverse chances” anytime, and I just want to say happy holidays to all of you!

I might add Johns Hopkins or Tufts to your list if Public Health is a potential major.

Assuming that you are a junior since you have no AP scores listed yet.

Yep, JHU and Tufts are two schools that I have looked into for their amazing public health programs, but I just am not sure if they are the right school for me to apply early too. And yes, I am a junior!

Thanks for recommendations/help @Hamurtle

I would advise that if there is any school that looks good to you and is affordable, then ED to it. Your GPA/test scores will certainly merit a look from an adcom. Plus not too many Asians are going into public health/public policy so that may be a plus.

Obviously make sure you have safeties/matches.

You might want to consider Emory as well. It doesn’t have an undergraduate public health major, but there are programs that combine an undergraduate science major and a master’s in public health (one of the best grad schools for the major). Plus you have the CDC headquarters in Atlanta which could afford internship possibilities.

Try Washington University in St. Louis

Thanks again @Hamurtle and thanks to you too @yamwhatyam

I definitely have read about Emory and WUSTL, and they are, well, very respectable and successful universities when it comes to policy, MPH, biology, and more. Appreciate all the help!!

And your ECs seem well suited for public policy/international relations so Georgetown and Princeton Woody Woo might be reaches worth targeting. And since Georgetown suggests 3 SAT subject tests and you have 2 done/planning a third one, it should be on your list.

I would also advise possibly taking an SAT subject test in a history class. Just to add more of a balance.

One late bump :).

Appreciate all the help by the way.
