• Unweighted GPA: 3.6... should be higher, I know :(
• Weighted GPA: 3.9

• AP (place score in parenthesis): European History (4), United States History (5), English Language and Composition (5), Macroeconomics (NR), Microeconomics (NR), U.S Government, English Literature, Spanish Language, Environmental Science

• Senior Year Course Load: AP Gov, AP Lit, AP Spanish Lang, AP Environmental Science, Intro to Calculus, Band
• Rigor of Schedule: MOST challenging (Essentially as hard as my guidance counselor would let me)

• Major Awards (USAMO, Intel, NMSF etc.): Young Student Certificate of Achievment Award - AMC 12 Test, AP Scholar
• Minor award: Varsity Golf, History Scholar Award, English Scholar Award

**I have two other school awards, not sure where to put them so I'll put them here

Job/Work Experience: A lot
- Staff at Boys and Girls Club in town
- Caddy at local Country Club
- Staff at local fast food place

Volunteer/Community Service/Internships: An excessive amount (but totally worth it)
- Volunteer at Boys and Girls club (I work there too): ~40 hours
- Volunteer at First Tee - program for inner city kids to play golf: ~30-40 hours
- Volunteer at Community Theater (I essentially lived there Freshman year): 1000+ hours
- Internship for local US Congressman off cycle re-election campaign (Summer 2013): ~25 hrs
- Internship for municipal election in city nearby (Summer 2013): ~75 hours

Essays: Well my Common App one is awesome, but G'town doesn't use it, but they should be pretty good for Georgetown ones, will explain my recent interest in my major

Teacher Recommendations: Both are from a combined class of AP US History and AP Lang and Comp that we have at our school, easily the hardest class in our school, and they both absolutely loved me, so I think they will be quite strong, the history one will be much better

Guidance Counselor Recommendation: For some reason she adores me, and has worked with me on numerous class stuff, and recommends me for awards, so I'm sure its going to be really good

Conclusion: So I want to double major in Government/either Journalism or Political Economy in the college, and I really only got into politics the 2012 election cycle, which is why theres not much before this past summer, but hopefully Georgetown will see through my essays how involved I am and still am throughout the year and beyond

Thanks and let me know if you need more info!!

**I attended the American Politics Institute at G'town this past summer, highly recommend to like anyone ever who wants to go, I doubt that has any affect on my application though

**So I know that my GPA sucks, It was pretty good freshman and sophomore year, then it took a dip junior year (I know not good) but hopefully it will go return this first
quarter/semester so I can show schools, especially Georgetown, that I'm not screwing around

**And yes I'm not BS'ing anything I have on here, I put in like 20 hours a week, at least, at the Community Theater, and thats all year, so it adds up pretty fast.
