Chance me ED 2022?

White female, will not be applying for need-based financial aid, from large public school in Atlanta, GA.

GPA(W): 4.5
GPA(UW): 4?? (we use a scale out of 100, but these are as estimated by guidance counselor)
ACT(one sitting): 35 composite; 36 E 30 M 36 R 36 S
Rank: Top 10% out of 300 (don’t know exact rank)
Will have taken 14 APs by graduation this year
NHS
Close to fluent in Spanish

Sophomore
-APWH 4
-AP Stat (…will not be submitting)
Junior
-APUSH 5
-AP Lang 5
-AP Bio 4
-AP Macro 4
-AP Gov 4
-AP Micro 3
-AP Calc 3 (obviously, I’ve got a real weak spot in math)
Not yet sure if I’ll submit the 3s.
I’m taking SAT IIs this weekend, but probably won’t submit them to Brown–don’t want to send scores without seeing them first

Senior Schedule:
-AP Spanish
-AP Lit
-Gen Health/Yoga (lol don’t leave your PE credits until senior year)
-Applied Design IV (this is my school’s fashion program. We design and showcase yearly collections; my teacher for this class is writing a supplemental for me)
-AP European History
-AP Physics I
-AP Psychology
-AP Environmental Science
I’m doing my best to get a dual enrollment situation worked out for next semester so I can take a better science course.

Activities:
-Cross Country (JV 9/10, Varsity 11/12)
-Rec rowing team (11/12)
-“Executive Board” of school’s community service club (participant all 4 years, board member 11/12)
-Founder/president of outdoor club (11/12) (planning hikes, camping trips etc monthly and leading them)
-President of Earth club (run school’s recycling/gardening program; organize environmental service projects)
-Recently got field internship position with a gubernatorial campaign, will become a paid fellow next semester
Summers:
-2 3-week outward bound courses (I know this is so classically rich kid, but I loved them like crazy and they did a lot for me.)
-Middlebury 4-week language immersion program (Spanish)

Recs:
-APUSH teacher: 8/10
-AP Lang teacher (maybe overdid the humanities, but I’m an idiot in STEM classes) 9/10
-Fashion design teacher. She really knows and loves me. Obviously, it’s not going to hold too much weight as a third/nonacademic, but I feel like her evaluation of me is the most accurate.

Essays:
-I can’t really evaluate lol but I was quite satisfied with them–they’re a labor of love if nothing else.

I did a vocal music supplement–pretty happy with it but I’m sure it won’t do much of anything for my admissions decision.

Applying as a Sociology/Latin American Studies major with a potential pre-law (public defense/prison social work) focus. What I really want is my master’s in social work, a law degree, and to work on prison system reform esp. within the juvenile justice system.

I’m 100% hookless.

bump!

Did you get in?

@justliviglife she was deferred.
