University of the Sciences in Philadelphia

That SAT won’t help, but I think you’ll be fine for a majority of these programs. IMO a 2050+ would give great chances for all of these programs.

Don’t know anything about Massachusetts College but I think you’re definitely in for all except NE. NE might be a toss up, they get a lot of qualified applicants.

By the way, why is SJU even on there haha? I know someone with a 2.8 and 1500 SATs that got accepted. Same goes for Rutgers. Their pharmacy program is a bit competitive but you got a solid GPA, decent SATs, in-state and AP creds under your belt, you’re good to go man. Rutgers NB would be lucky to have you. Don’t sweat it.

Tenors - Thanks, I’m going to re-take the SAT, I was nervous and I scheduled the SAT for a week when I had midterms =, I’m hoping for a 2000+.

bsmd11 - Rutgers is my top choice because its instate, hopefully I can get in.

pch340 - Yeah, Saint John’s is one of my top choices if I cannot raise my SAT score, hoping for some type of aid, even if its small if I can’t get into Rutgers. I hope Rutgers sees it that way too lol.

Thanks for responding everyone, I was wondering if anyone else has any info on the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, haven’t really heard about them besides the influx of mail they send me.

^Agreed. USP is probably the easiest one to get into, primarily because their retention rate is low. But, I believe they give good scholarships, so if money’s an issue, have at it.

if you get into rutgers, go…
my sister and her friends all applied to pharmacy programs together…
she’s at USP and works her butt off to stay in, and wouldn’t recommend it to the faint of heart/people looking for a GREAT college experience
her friend ended up not getting directly into ernest mario school of pharmacy, but she was offered a provisional spot if she went to newark for the first two years… she ended up liking it, and it was worth it in the end since she transferred easily to the new brunswick campus after two years as a part of the program

when applying to rutgers, APPLY EARLY.
they are rolling admissions, all scholarships/acceptances are on a first come-first served basis, so getting your app in early will give you better chances
