Korean/white female going to a relatively large public school in Ohio. 34 ACT (superscored) 33 not superscored but I plan to take again and hopefully improve to get a 36 superscore. GPA is currently 4.0 after last year predicting somewhere around 4.2-4.3 after this year. my school doesn’t tell us unweighted but estimated 4.85+. 1 AP sophomore year (US history), 4 this year (micro+macro econ, gov, and seminar), and planning to either take 1-2 college classes and 1-2 AP or 3 AP next year (unsure which until I decide which path to take). 7 honors classes so far ,8 after next year (alg 2, english 9, world history, physical science, chemistry, biology, english 10). my school doesn’t weight these). I’m planning to apply to questrom (I’ve taken a few business classes at my school as well) and I’m currently in calculus so I meet that prereq. Heavily leaning towards applying ed 1 but slightly worried about the financial side of it so what do you think my regular decision chances are?
I volunteer around 3 hours a week with an organization that I have a personal connection with, Looking to have 200+ hours by the time I apply. Also part of my school’s Spanish club. Figure skater for 13 years and plan to continue if I go to BU. Double gold medalist through US Figure Skating. I will also have a leadership position in my club for my senior year and have worked as a Learn to Skate instructor since my sophomore year. Additionally I plan to become a certified pilates instructor the summer before my senior year.
To show demonstrated interest, I’ve also gone to one visit over the summer and their official spring visit day right before covid in Feb. I attended a lot of their virtual events also.
If you have any other suggestions for target/reach schools lmk also because I have very few on my list rn.
