<p>Hi, I'm an incoming senior and would like to apply to any UC, UT Austin, NYU, UI Urbana-Champaign, Georgia Tech, UM Amherst.</p>

<p>Major: Computer Science</p>

<p>SAT I: 1810 ( CR 460, M 730, W 620 ); may retake</p>

<p>SAT II: MATH 2 (780), CHEM (710)</p>

<p>ACT: 27 ( ENG 26, M 35, CR 22, SCIENCE 25, ENG/ESSAY 26, ESSAY (9) ) awaiting june score</p>

<p>GPA (10/11): 3.54 (uw) , 3.875 (w, assuming cutoff is 8 extra points) </p>

<p>AP/HONORS (10/11): English 10 H, PRE-Calc (h), calc a (h), dev. of civ. (h), AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus B/C, AP Computer Science</p>

<p>AP/HONORS (12) : AP SPANISH LITERATURE, AP STATISTICS, AP PHYSICS C</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: Solar Cup, Tennis Team, Applied Engineering Club, Leo Club, Robotics Club/Team</p>

<p>What should I do to help my APP and what are my chances to get into CS Major in the following schools: any UC, UT Austin, NYU, UI Urbana-Champaign, Georgia Tech, UM Amherst</p>

<p>PLEASE give me your opinion as I currently fear of whether i will get into any of these colleges!!!</p>

ut austin: slight reach
urbana: reach (only cause they’re heavy in math which you seem to be good at)
don’t know about the others and whats up with critical reading?</p>

<p>About the CR, my weakest subject and part…do u have any advice on how to fix any other college opinions or which colleges may be best suited for me for CS major based on my scores?</p>

<p>my computer lagged and i refreshed, thinking it wasnt submitted, but after i hit submit again, i found out i already had it submitted…</p>

<p>besides your question, do u have any advice or perhaps what are my chances for the colleges i have listed above?</p>

<p>yeah my scores are low in cr too (520). Im aiming for many of the same schools plus UW Madison (my dream school). Im taking many practice tests over the summer from the blue book. Good luck!</p>

<p>Get a 700 in every Sat section at least, or a 32 ACT and you have a chance at all of the schools. Your GPA is low.</p>
