<p>My only main problem is my GPA, but the UMKC website says the GPAs ranged from 3.0 to 4.0. Are my stats good enough to get to the interview stage?</p>

<p>Your extracurricular’s seem pretty good. The ACT is there, but as you said, the GPA could be higher. Of course, it won’t be the only thing they look at. Pumping out solid essays and getting some really good recommendations, in addition to what you posted above, should be able to get you an interview.</p>

<p>With your speech and debate background, I feel like the you should be able to distinguish yourself in the interviews. Having done speech and debate myself, I can tell you that it definitely helps and should give you a leg up in terms of experience answering questions on the fly.</p>
