Ok so I’m a junior in high school and I just want to know if I can get into any of these schools or what I should do to improve my chances.
Gpa: 4.48 weighted
Act: 27 first time (retaking to get a 31+)
Ap: world history(4) currently taking us history, taking ap english, ap bio, ap gov, and Ap Spanish. I should be able to pull at least a four on each.
Other classes: everything else I’ve taken outside of Ap has all been honors except classes required for graduation like Fitness.
Extracurriculars: varsity chess, varsity scholastic bowl, and junior Marshall.
Honors: academic letter x2, high honor roll x3, ranked top 15 x2 (11/454 in 2013 and 9/471 in 2014)
Work: Will be a lifeguard this summer
Volunteer work: worked at a local thrift store along with a couple of other random jobs amounting to 35 hours.
Honestly my biggest issue is leadership and Extracurriculars in my opinion. Now by the time I apply I will have NHS to add but I’m still uneasy. Leadership on the other hand is worse because I really have nothing other than a jr leader and senior leader class which is basically an advanced gym class. Just let me know what you think of my chances and what I can do to improve them.
