i'd really appreciate it if you'd chance me :) i just sent in my app on saturday for early action to harpur undeclared. ok so here's my stats: in state, white, female
9th grade gpa: 3.52 unweighted, 3.7 weighted. 10th grade gpa: 3.54 unweighted, 3.72 weighted. 11th grade gpa: 3.83 unweighted, not sure about weighted though. so my overall cumalative gpa is 3.595 unweighted, 3.824 weighted. also to add, i had pretty good regents scores, usually better than the grade i got in the class cause i go to a REALLY hard public high school. my school is like nationally recognized, and known to be really difficult.
submitted my ACT scores (didn't take SAT) here's a breakdown of the scores:
composite: 33 english: 32 math: 32 reading: 34 science: 33 writing: 9
one problem i have though is that i didn't take that many ap's. this is cause i have a slight learning disability. nothing terrible, it just hinders my reading a little. basically the only ap i took junior year was a college spanish class (it wasn't called ap, but it's still a college credit course that shows up on my transcript). will that hurt me? and will it help that my senior year schedule is a little more rigorous? here's my senior year classes:
ap bio, ap photography, creative writing (a college course), facing history (a school requirement), sociology (a college course), pre-calc, and intro to philosophy.
there's also the fact that my school doesn't offer honors courses. just regular and AP. so if you're not good enough for ap and too smart for regular, you just take regular cause you don't wanna flunk out of ap. that's what happened to me. junior year, i couldn't take any ap's besides spanish, so the rest of my classes were regular but i got straight a's in them.
but anyway do u think this will really hurt me?
oh and for EC's: currently in three school clubs. officer of one of the clubs. oh and one of the clubs is art honor society, if that helps. also do a LOT of community service, especially over the summer (just stuff like working at hospitals and food pantries)
anyway please chance me! i'd really appreciate it!

I think you’re set. Match. 80-90% ish accceptance
