bump… please help!!

your ACT score and GPA seem a little low for BU - their average ACT score (according to the rep I spoke to) is a 30. The fact that you are a white male from the Northeast also does not help. Is your school extremely rigorous, and it is well known that it is difficult to get good grades?
Hopefully, the fact that you’re applying ED will help. Make sure your essays are very good! Good luck

Yes, my school is known for its academic rigor. I’m hoping that the fact that I’ve taken a bunch of honors and AP classes will help also.

What are your AP scores? because your standardized testing seems a bit low for ED. EC are decent, one thats really good.

AP English Lang.: 5
AP US History: 4

Id say like 60% chance getting in

bump… someone?

i agree with compositions on 60%

yuppp 60% chance of getting in. Hopefully the competition for you is not too rough… Early decision is not that competitive as regular decision. the stats are much lower so you have a good shot.

I don’t know much about the competitiveness about BU. But judging by what others are saying about the competitiveness about the school (and the decision you’re choosing to apply under) I’d say you have a decent chance I guess?

ED helps but its definitely a 50/50 chance of being accepted or rejected.

i think your scores are a little low, but i think u have good extracurricular. colleges look at first and second quarter grades so try to get good grades, it will help.

good luck! I’m also applying to BU. see u there next year maybe?

I hope so! I was told by an admissions representative that the middle 50% SAT scores are 1890-2050. I’m at the lower end of the spectrum, but im in it nonetheless.

I screwed up freshman year which brings my GPA down. I’m hoping my Soph and Junior year GPAs are god enough, especially since si’ve taken some honors and AP classes.

How about me?

Applied Ed.

If you were recruited for basketball, the coach would have given you a “likely letter”… meaning if you apply, you are likely to get in in. Usually coaches will TELL you to go ED.
