I am a Sophomore right now in a high school that is ranked in the top 70 in America. I have a 5/6 GPA (my school does not go off of a 4.0). The reason my GPA is so low is because I load up on AP’s and honors classes, and because I blew my Freshmen year to pieces (I have an upward trend to my grades if that helps). By the end of my high school career, I should rack up at least 10 AP’s, but a max of 11 AP classes. These include AP European History, U.S. History, Computer Science, Calculus BC, Biology, Language & Composition, Literature, another AP history class, Statistics, and I might double up on another math class. Every other non-Ap classes is either honors, or in the case of Spanish, no honors. In my future, I plan on being either a Dentist or a Physician. I am also a member of many charity extracurricular clubs, and already piled up 80+ hours at a local hospital. Also, I volunteered for the Salvation Army. Boston University would be ideal for me, but since by GPA is on the low side, I would like to know what other people think about my chances. Thank you in advance!

how about your SAt/ACT scores?

Since I am a sophomore, I still havent taken any SAT/ACT. However, I have taken a PSAT and was predicted to get a 28-32, but I do not know how accurate those can be.

A bit early, don’t you think?

I don’t think so.
