I hope to study Chemical Biology - please chance me any of the following schools!

UC Berkeley - College of Chemistry OR College of Letters and Science
UC LA
Johns Hopkins
Northwestern
Carnegie Mellon

All in all, I think you have quite good chances to get in.

Hmm, considering the fact that you intend to major in Chemical Biology the 700 Biology SAT is probably not what you want and your CR score could also be a little higher (your SAT score is good, no question about that, but most of the schools are rather focussing on CR+M than on Writing). If I was you I would probably retake one of the SATs or both if you think that you are able to improve (last test date is 22nd January).

I would also make sure that you’re essays are not just okay but great because they can be THE factor that distinguishes from the other applicants who have also good test scores, GPAs and ECs.

I wish you the best of luck,
