Umm looks like situations have been changing and we’re not moving next year (most likely 2025 when I’ll be a senior)
The original plan was for us was to to go to the states for school in fall, my family joins me in the states before winter break and so I have a place to stay during longer breaks. Since that won’t work out and I don’t have any relatives in the States so I’d have to go back to Korea alone and my parents aren’t really the biggest fan of that idea.
So I’ll be attending a Korean high school w/ international curriculum available if I manage to get accepted (we can only apply to one school) or drop out and get enrolled in an online high school and stay with my grandparents.
I know I’m missing lots of oppertunities and I’ve really advocated for myself to let me go to boarding schools but that didn’t turn out well and I know that it’s harder to get into colleges here- as an overrepresented country and stuff like that but I’m still gonna try.
I really wish the best for you guys and thank you so much for your help:)

same!! thats with my parents too
Often the school has families that volunteer to house over shorter breaks, if you don’t have a friend that invites you to stay.

I’ve heard that’s the case for ex) thanksgiving but I don’t think it’s gonna work for summer/winter😭 I’ve told that to my parents but it doesn’t really seem to work
It definitely is not the case for summer.
Yes I can def see that😭
Thank you so much I’ll see if I can apply next year as a repeat junior
Also if anyone has tips on how to persuade my parents please tell me😂 tia
