I was told my two essays for the UC's were "great and excellent" by multiple teachers and counselors. - I basically reused and filtered my UC personal statement for the USC application.

Possible major is some sort of business or economics, evetually leading to law school.

Things said in my essays
- My Dad was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gherigs) this past summer
- My leadership awards and how it has helped and will continue to help shape me.
*Emphasis on how this has given me a greater appreciation for the time and life I have and that I need to make the most of it.

You should be in for sure at UCI and I would think Pepperdine although I don't know all that much about that one. Your SATs are a bit on the low side but if your essays are as good as your teachers said then you have a good shot at UCSD. It's hard to say for USC and UCLA but they're definitely not out of the question.

bring your SAT to 2000 (honestly not even that hard and verrry worth it) and you have an excellent shot at UCLA and USC. The other two are probably matches just the way things are right now. good luck son

I think you have a good chance of getting in at UCI and Pepperdine
UCLA and UCSD are reaches.
USC is sort of unpredictable, though definitely there is still a chance.

Niceee!!! Congrats on getting into SD!!
You'll probably get accepted to SC & definitely for I if you got into SD.

but not so sure about LA...they're so competitive. Last year, my friend didn't get accepted to LA and he got 2100 (or something like that) and a good enough gpa...

bumpbumpbump.... can't wait till the 18th when UCLA supposedly comes out... thanks for your optimistc view soccer, it helps, but your gut won't satisfy my nerves.
