Chance me for Cal and Stanford?

Hey guys. Before I begin, I realize the ambiguity of the college admissions process and and in the end it's not about what's said on the forum but what the university decides.

My dream schools are Cal and Stanford, and was wondering how strong my app would look when applying.

SAT: 2250
Grades: I've taken no regular classes throughout my high school career and have not gotten below an A-.
10th- 1 AP and 5 honors
11th- 4 AP and 2 honors
12th- 4 AP and 2 honors
Sports:
I play on the varsity golf team and am by no means the next Tiger Woods, but I have a passion for the sport, regardless of how good I am or will be.
ECs:
I started a technology website that has gathered a considerable following. I also volunteer heavily for one non-profit which pays for college tuition for those in third-world countries. I feel I am personally connected with the organization and I have a story to tell about it. I also am part of DECA, a business club, and I go to most of their conferences and am reasonably involved. Furthermore, I volunteer for TiE50, a contest that helps recognize start-ups and it is through the program that we've managed to raise $2 billion for the various companies. I've done it since freshman year and hope it will show my entrepreneurial flare.

How do my chances look at Cal, Stanford, or really any top school for that matter.

i hate to do this but the two schools that you listed are both high reach for any qualified candidate. it is tough. there is no guarantee.

Your scores are good, EC looking good too.

Chances are not bad at all, but of course they are unpredictable schools.

I would say that you will probably get into UC Berkely, but I am an in state person and know of people who got in with a lot less everything. If your essays are good, then you will definitely get in.

Stanford is a total wild card. Cal is a little more predictable and you should definitely get in there.

I think you’re in at Cal. What are your SAT Subject scores? Those are important, especially if you will be applying for an impacted major. Stanford is a wild card of course and a crapshoot for everyone. Good luck!
