Thanks in advance!!

Why are you taking the ACT and more subject tests? All your scores are already great and you’re competitive for the schools you want to apply to. You should focus on other parts of your app.

Thanks for the response!

What parts do you mean?

I’d say your chances are pretty good for all schools.
For UCLA, they especially stress wanting to find kids who want to change the world for the greater good. This should come across in your essays.

I don’t want to jinx anything, but being a California resident myself and seeing where everyone has gotten in from my school, I can almost say certainly that you’ll get into all of these schools as long as your essays are good.

What is your UC GPA (capped) and UnWeighted GPA? Based on your posted stats, you look like a competitive applicant and have a good chance at all the schools on your list. I do not see any safety schools on your list. I would include at least one just as a backup.

Good Luck.

Thanks!

My UC GPA (capped) is 4.23, according to https://rogerhub.com/uc-undergraduate-admissions-calculator/.
My UnWeighted GPA is 3.87 (going into senior year)

Does this change anything?

No, it does not change anything, just wondering since only UCLA/UCB use the uncapped UC GPA. I think you are fine with your list. Do you have a safety school or two?

Does the UC system count PE for GPA? If not, my GPA should actually be 4.5 weighted (uncapped), 4.25 weighted (capped), and 3.916 unweighted.

I calculated the above GPAs including only grades from 10th and 11th grade. Is this the proper way to calculate?

I kind of considered Davis my safety. But I might decide on something else.

No, PE classes are not counted. Only a-g courses are included: Science/Foreign Language/English/Social Science/ Math and Visual/Performing Arts.

Even though you have competitive stats, none of the Mid-tier UC’s should be considered safeties.

As good as your stats are, don’t count on Davis as a safety, especially if you are applying to CS.

UC Davis should not be considered a safety. Every year you see all sort of odd things with UC admissions. Students with great stats are shut out.

I remember one kid a couple years ago, really wanted to attended UCI. He got into UCLA but not UCI, go figure.
