I’m interested in a career in intellectual property law (maybe patents), so I would probably major in economics or computer science (BA, not EECS lol)
I’m Indian-American and live in California. My family moved to escape religious persecution before I was born.
Why are you taking the ACT and more subject tests? All your scores are already great and you’re competitive for the schools you want to apply to. You should focus on other parts of your app.
I’d say your chances are pretty good for all schools.
For UCLA, they especially stress wanting to find kids who want to change the world for the greater good. This should come across in your essays.
I don’t want to jinx anything, but being a California resident myself and seeing where everyone has gotten in from my school, I can almost say certainly that you’ll get into all of these schools as long as your essays are good.
What is your UC GPA (capped) and UnWeighted GPA? Based on your posted stats, you look like a competitive applicant and have a good chance at all the schools on your list. I do not see any safety schools on your list. I would include at least one just as a backup.
No, it does not change anything, just wondering since only UCLA/UCB use the uncapped UC GPA. I think you are fine with your list. Do you have a safety school or two?
