Chance me for CalTech

This is just a rough chance, I'm only a junior right now and have yet to take my SATs, but I'm aiming for above a 2200 (sister had same high school stats as me, made a 2220 and is at Duke). I made a 204 on my sophomore PSAT (99% percentile critical reading, 98% math, 96% writing), and I'm taking SAT tutoring until the spring in math and writing so my SATs will be higher. I hope to make National Merit on this year's PSAT.

School: Large New Jersey public
Class rank: top 2% in a class of ~440
GPA: 3.96/4.60
ECs: Math club, Italian Culture Club, will do science club this and next year as well
Worked on my uncle's bison ranch (one of two in NC)
Course load: very difficult, accelerated two years in math (most students in my grade are in Algebra II, and I took that freshman year)
APs:
Sophomore: Statistics (5), US History I (test junior year, two year course)
Junior: US History II, Calculus BC, Chemistry
Background: White male, upper middle class home

Without test scores you can’t be chanced. Caltech is mostly a numbers school, and you need at minimum a 770+ on the math sections of the SAT and subject test in order to be considered.

If I make a 770-800 on the math portion of the SAT would I be a fairly competitive applicant?

yes it would. have more math/science related ecs if you can.

Don’t EVER make threads with “projected stats.” That is so pointless.
