would really appreciate any help!

Competition is definitely pretty fierce coming out of NY, but I’d say with your GPA and SAT BU is a match school… so you have a very good shot. Most important thing will be stellar essays/supplements (does CAS make you write a special essay? COM does and I know it matters there.).

thanks for the reply and believe me I know how full the NY pool is. there are 3 other kids doing ED from my class, and in a school as small as mine, thats not insignificant.
the only extra thing we had to write was a ‘Why BU?’ type question.

Spend a lot of time on the “Why BU?” supplement - BU is very interested in knowing how much YOU’RE interested. BU wants to know its students are very committed to their school and their school specifically (not just any ole’ research university in Boston; and not just any ole’ safety to Harvard.) ED already shows a lot of interest, but shining on the supplement will serve you even more.
