Applying for pre-med!

Anyone? A general idea would greatly help.

You have a decent chance. And decent i mean like around 90% around. I’m saying this because i EDed to CAS and applied to one of its hardest majors (economics department is ranked 10th). i got 2110 on my SAT, lots of ECs like you but more sports related ( coaching jobs n stuff). We are actually quite similar, my gpa was like 3.2 and my unweighted was pretty low too cuz my school doenst offer anything other than regular courses. I had to study aps on my own, 5 calc AB 4 micro econ 4 macro econ and a 3 for chem which i didnt put it on. 730 Math II, 780 Chem lol. I think you have a pretty solid chance of getting in for ED  o and yes… i did get accepted lol

then again, i applied to ED I and i’m from canada… so that might have some influences. Why are you RD, is this your safety?

I am applying RD because NYU is not my first choice. I have already been accepted to Rutgers which was my safety. I wouldn’t say that I have a 90% chance…that seems way too high. But I would like to get a more realistic estimate…I think that ED chances are higher anyway.

Any other opinions?

GPA looks like it might hurt you, but your subjectives are pretty strong. I think you have a very good chance at CAS, I got in with weaker ECs than what you have.

I agree with roymondito…I would say you have a decent chance (90% is too high, but still a decent chance). I applied to NYU with lower SAT scores but a higher GPA and was accepted, so you never really know.
