I am applying for Choate as a freshman. I go to a private day school.
My school doesn’t have “advanced classes” but I’m taking Geometry as an 8th grader, I take two languages,and I got a 95% on the SSAT.
My Activities:
Girl Scouts (I won the Silver Award)
I’m part of the Math Challenge Club, Spanish Club, and International Club. I tutor kids in Math.
I’m a volunteer at the animal shelter and library.
I play saxophone in the school band and jazz band.
I’d say I’m pretty competitive at singing. I’m in the regular chorus and honors chorus at my school. I take private vocal lessons as well. I’m also in the New England Conservatory Chamber Chorus for middle school.
I also went to the Choate summer program. I am applying to other schools but Choate is my favorite.
